About the Event

At a time when there is a great need for our lives and businesses to be aware of their ecological impact, this introductory session by Relational Change Coach, Maggie Marriott, is an exploration of how our own connectedness to the environment around us can affect every decision and action within our business for the better. In this workshop explore how to develop an ecologically aware business plan using nature as a catalyst.

What to expect:

We will start in the train carriage behind the Tetbury Goods Shed with an overview of the approach including some suggested questions and a selection of business plan templates, if needed, and after this we will venture outside with our question or questions in mind. Outside the carriage there is a wonderful footpath along the old railway line that is flat and easy to navigate and which intersects with other footpaths to take you on steeper terrain. The idea is to hold your question in mind and see where you are drawn to and what answers you find there. You may choose to return to the carriage a number of times to capture your insights and head out again with a fresh question or you may spend the whole time outside, how you use the time is up to you and if you need some support we will be there to help. The last part of the session is to share any insights we have and any actions we plan to now take.

What to bring:

We will go outside whatever the weather so please come prepared and wear sturdy shoes. You will also need something to capture your insights and this could include a notebook and some thing to write or draw with; your phone to record yourself speaking or the sounds you hear around you; your phone or a camera to capture any images that have sparked your insights.

Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided.
